Journal Club

The International Society of Wheelchair Professionals (ISWP), an organization housed within the University of Pittsburgh, aims to provide wheelchair users worldwide with the best technology and services, with a focus on less-resourced countries. The purpose of the ISWP Journal Club is to get colleagues, undergraduate, and graduate students at the university, neighboring universities, and abroad involved in international research that highlights wheelchair service provision in less-resourced settings in recognition of ISWP’s broader mission. The journal club’s activities are to:

Engage professionals and students in reading and critically appraising international, scientific articles related to disability and rehabilitation, focusing on the wheelchair sector.
Provide support to fellow colleagues and classmates on research initiatives related to wheelchair service provision.
